The collection site for garbage and the recycling center is located at W4717 County Road O. It's at the intersection of County Roads O & R. The attendant in charge is Robert Krause. The site is open on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and from April 1st to October 31st, the site is also open on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Dumping of garbage or recyclables at any other time is prohibited by ordinance and is subject to fines.
Residential solid waste and items for Recycling are collected every Saturday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and during the months of April through October, the site is open on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The collection site is located at the Town Garage located at the intersection of County Highways R & O. Collection is limited to Town of Lebanon residents only and during the hours listed above. Fees are charged according the size and quantity of items being disposed.
There is no fee for the disposal of most recyclable items. Dumpsters are provided for each of the various types of household waste. Several dumpsters are designated for normal household garbage and several are for recycling items only. Boxes should be broken down flat. All recycling items can be mixed together in the same container, with the exception of plastic shopping bags. If the recycling company sees any plastic bags in the recycle container they will not accept it and the ENTIRE dumpster will be collected as trash and taken to a land fill. This will negate everyone's hard work and cost the town more money, as the town would have to pay trash prices for the removal of the dumpster. PLEASE do not put any plastic shopping bags in with your recyclables. There are special collection boxes for plastic shopping bags in several local stores.
